A story about markus angermeier
He always seems very quite. And smiles a lot.
Part of the dutch invasion, a lot of fun and like to spread little orange whupies – or whatever they are called.
Looks like Bill Murray sometimes. ;)
He talks about politics from a different perspective and points to interesting stuff. :)
He was at the podcaster meetup in SFO, unplanned. He is taller than you would imagine. :)
We knew each other by Usenet from Germany, but met in Palo Alto when he went for a coffee and I followed along from the office. He had four shots in his coffee.
I told the story later to somebody back in Germany without mention his name but with mention of the shots. “Oh, you met Jonas?” was the reaction.
He cares about digital rights and alike and he is not only a passionate but also a very convincing activist. And a nice person when you meet him.
He just was this annoying kid. Then I heard his session at Gnomedex reading from his books, nah performing.
I love this recording. And discovered that he also has a great way of story telling. So now he is this cool, funny, smart guy with this compelling smile. And who does not want to meet a cool guy like Wil? :)
We met for Les Blogs in Paris, after the conference in a bar high above Paris. The y do have a funny word for podcast in french. :)
Is there anyone who could not like CC?
I disagree on his choice of music when it gets too schrammelig, but love his mellow stuff. And even better, his digital marketing expertise.
Having him over here in Germany was his first trip to Europe – it was like watching a child getting christmas presents over two days.
CC is just wonderful.
Of course we met only before, but F2F for the first time at blogher.
Just meeting her alone would have made the trip to the states worth the time, cost and effort. It is even more fun to be around her than just reading her.
And she like chocoloate. She brought chocolate. I love her! ;)
